Frequently asked questions
The things people actually ask before booking a session or a reading.
Reiki sessions
Do you offer sessions in person?
No. Neha works remotely only, for every client and every service. There is no clinic or centre to visit. Reiki sessions and classes are held on a video call, and readings are given by message. It is why a client in Mumbai and a client on the other side of the world receive the same thing.
What happens during a session?
You join Neha on a video call and talk briefly about what brought you there. You then rest in your own home, fully clothed, while she works at a distance for the main part of the session. Afterwards there is time to talk, and simple aftercare suggestions if you want them.
Does Reiki involve physical touch?
Not in Neha's practice. She works entirely at a distance, so there is never any physical contact. Some practitioners use light touch in person, but distance Reiki involves none at all.
What does Reiki feel like?
You might notice warmth, coolness, tingling, deep relaxation, emotion rising, or nothing distinct at all. None of these is the right answer. A strong sensation is not evidence that a session worked, and a quiet one is not evidence that it did not.
How should I prepare?
Choose a quiet place where you can rest undisturbed, wear something comfortable, keep water nearby and silence your notifications. Do not plan to drive during the appointment. Tell Neha in advance about any accessibility, language or communication preferences.
How often should I have a session?
There is no fixed schedule. Some people come once, some occasionally, some more regularly during a difficult period. Neha will not push you into a package or promise a result after a set number of sessions.
Is Reiki safe?
Reiki is generally described as gentle and non invasive. Tell Neha about accessibility needs, pregnancy, injuries or mental health concerns so the session can be adapted. The one real risk is using it in place of care you need, so it should never delay diagnosis or treatment.
Are there side effects afterwards?
Some people report tiredness or emotion for a day or so. New, severe or persistent symptoms should never be waved away as a healing reaction. If something concerns you, contact a qualified professional.
Can Reiki complement my medical treatment?
Many people use it alongside their existing care, and Neha actively encourages you to continue that care. What Reiki must never do is replace or delay a diagnosis or treatment you need. It does not treat or cure any condition.
Is Reiki religious?
Reiki is a spiritual practice but is not tied to one religion. People practise it alongside a faith tradition or without one entirely.
Palmistry and birth chart readings
What do you need from me for a palmistry reading?
Clear photographs of both palms. Neha may also ask for your name and birth details. Take the pictures in daylight without flash, hold the camera about a foot from your hand, and check they are sharp before sending them on Telegram.
How is the reading given to me?
Neha tells you the reading directly in a message. There is no video call for a reading. Your photograph is deleted once the reading has been given.
What does a reading cost, and how long does it take?
Timeline and payment are discussed with Neha directly, since they depend on what you are asking for. Message her on Telegram at @sai_ashish_reiki and she will tell you before anything is agreed.
What is a birth chart reading?
A reading drawing on Neha's training in KP astrology and Nakshtra Nadi, both certified. You give your name and birth details, and the reading comes back to you in a message.
Which hand do you read?
Both. The convention is that the non dominant hand shows inherited temperament and potential, while the dominant hand shows what you have made of it. The difference between the two is often the most interesting part of a reading.
Can palmistry predict my future?
No. A reading describes tendencies, patterns and possibilities. It does not name dates or outcomes, and Neha will not offer a remedy to change something she claims to see in your hand.
Learning Reiki
Can I learn Reiki with Neha?
Yes. Level 1 and Level 2 are taught together as a three day course, live on a Zoom or Google Meet call, for ₹5,000 in India and $100 for international students. Master and Teacher training follows on afterwards. Message her on Telegram at @sai_ashish_reiki for dates.
Booking
What languages do you work in?
English, Hindi and Marathi, across every service and every class. Say which you would prefer when you get in touch.
How do I book?
Everything runs through Telegram, at @sai_ashish_reiki. Send a short message saying what you are interested in and where you are based, and Neha will take it from there.
How are appointment times decided?
Times are agreed between you and Neha directly, to suit you both. She works to the IST clock and will confirm the time against your own so there is no confusion, which matters most for clients outside India.
What does a session cost?
A Reiki session is ₹200 in India and $20 for clients anywhere else. Fees for Reiki classes, palmistry and birth chart readings are discussed with Neha, so message her on Telegram at @sai_ashish_reiki for those.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. Neha works with clients in many countries, and the session is identical wherever you are. Times are agreed individually in every case.
